The pilgrimage route, the dining room is by reservation only.
This guesthouse was made by renovating an old family home. It is a charming farmhouse in a Japanese rural setting with sloping ceilings, large support beams, plastered walls, and a fireplace. We will pour you our family's own doburoku unrefined sake called "Fuki" as you enjoy dishes made with local ingredients such as wild vegetables and fish from the streams while sitting at the fireplace. After this feast, please relax in the Japanese room with tatami mats. Food will be delivered by car to the dining hall along the pilgrimage route. We will prepare homemade countryside dishes, such as Mihara rice that we have grown ourselves, and steamed dishes and pickles made with freshly picked vegetables. Our alcohol-free doburoku steamed buns (reservation required) are also popular. We hope you will enjoy these sweets with a light scent of doburoku.
